I am the editor of Event Manager Blog. Started in 2007, Event Manager Blog is the number one blog worldwide for event professionals, covering topics such as event planning, social media and events, event technology, event trends, event inspiration but also destination management marketing, hospitality marketing.
My mission is give event professionals advice, reports and tools to face one of the most stressing jobs on earth.
In 2008 I started the Event Planning and Management LinkedIn Group. A few years later, with more than 100,000 members a team of 12 moderators, it became the de-facto largest gathering of event professionals online.
I am a speaker for the event industry. Events I spoke at include MPI Belgium Conference, EIBMT Barcelona, IMEX Frankfurt, Social Media Week Milan, SMAU and I’ve been guest lecturer for Dublin City University’s Business School.
Before becoming a 100% dedicated blogger and speaker, I have been working as Social Media Consultant for FTSE250 companies in the UK.
I have previously lived in Milan, Sydney and London. Presently I lived in southern Italy, where I originally come from.
My secret dream is to become a barista. The perfect job for someone who loves coffee and being with people.
I am a Tarantino fan and love typography.
